1. Scope and Basis of Policy
AURORA HORIZON Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "we") strictly adheres to the requirements of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the Directive on Contracts for the Sale of Goods (2019/771/EU), and its amending Directive (2024/1799/EU), and provides standardized return and exchange services to consumers (hereinafter referred to as "you") who purchase our leather goods, such as wallets and key cases, within the European Economic Area (EEA).
This policy applies to all new, authentic leather goods purchased through our official website (auorizon.com), authorized dealers, or other reputable channels. This policy excludes unsealed personal care accessories and products purchased from private sellers.
2. Unconditional Return (Cooling-off Period)
(I) Return Period and Starting Date
You have 14 days from receipt of the product to return the product without giving any reason. You may cancel the purchase agreement without stating a reason. The return period is calculated as follows:
For physical products, the return period begins on the date you sign for the package.
If the products are delivered in batches, the return period begins on the date you sign for the last batch.
If we fail to provide a confirmation of transaction terms as required, the return period will be extended to 12 months.
(II) Return Conditions
To ensure a smooth return process, the product must meet the following conditions:
In new, unused condition, with no wear or scratches on the leather goods, and no signs of oxidation on the hardware.
The original packaging must be intact, with all accessories, including the hangtag, dust bag, and maintenance manual.
For returns not due to quality issues, you will be responsible for the round-trip logistics costs and any customs duties that may be incurred. (III) Return Process
Submitting a request: Within the return period, submit a request through the "After-Sales Service" section of our official website or email [email protected], specifying the order number, reason for return, and contact information.
Review and Confirmation: We will review your request within 2 business days and, upon approval, send you return instructions and a custom return label.
Shipping: Within 7 days of receiving the return instructions, package the product and accessories, attach the return label, and deliver it to your designated logistics provider.
Quality Inspection Refund: Upon receipt of the product, we will complete a quality inspection within 3 business days. Once we confirm compliance with the requirements, we will provide a full refund (excluding optional value-added service fees) to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.
3. Special Circumstances
Excluding Man-Made Damage: Damage caused by improper use (such as impact with heavy objects or contact with corrosive substances), improper maintenance (such as failure to follow leather care instructions), or accidents is not covered by this policy.
Third-Party Repair Restrictions: Products repaired by a third party without our authorization will void the statutory warranty.
Gift Protection: Leather accessories included with the main product have the same warranty as the main product.
Cross-Border Order Notice: For orders shipped outside the EU, warranty repairs may incur international logistics fees. Please consult with after-sales service for details.
4. Policy Updates and Dispute Resolution
This policy will be updated regularly based on EU regulatory revisions and business developments. Updates will be notified to you via official website announcements and emails. Updates will take effect from the date of publication.
If you have any objections to your return or exchange service, you may first negotiate with our after-sales service team. If negotiations are unsuccessful, you may file a complaint with your member state's consumer protection agency or dispute resolution platform.
Any disputes will be subject to relevant EU consumer protection regulations. If a member state has a higher standard of protection, that country's regulations will prevail.
